You might wonder, why Adam Cornett? I take a lot of pride in my teaching. I work hard at my teaching and want to give my best to my students. I also continue to learn by taking trips to Argentina every year for the last 7 years, one time going twice in a single year.
I have been dancing and teaching Argentine Tango for 20+ years. I have taught thousands of people to dance. Some of those became teachers, others became performers, organizers, and many great social dancers. I have studied with many great masters in Argentina over my 8 trips to Buenos Aires. I have taught at MIT, Harvard, Yale, Brown, Northwestern, and the Beijing Dance Academy.
In 2016 I won the US Tango Championship with Tilly Kimm. Between 2018-2019 I parntered with world champion Ines Bogado and world champion Jesica Arfenoni. I have also performed with the famous Graciela Gonzalez. I am the only American to partner with two world champions.
